These illustrations of mine are from a children's poem by A.A Milne called Forgiven, or some people may know it as Alexander the Beetle. I've tried to adapt the colourful nature of the poem, although it's short I quickly realized there is lots happening in the garden. However, many of the features, ie. the cat, granny in the background tending to her roses is from my imagination; nothing is said about either in the poem, which is what I love about illustrating children's books, it can totally be up to my own interpretation. I will slowly show some more pages as I complete them, hope you enjoy!
